3.1 Our processing of your data as an exhibitor, supplier, service provider, participant, auxiliary
We process your data on legal grounds of a contract or measures that we take at your request, for the purpose of planning, performance and closure of our event. Any tax relevant data will be retained for as long as tax law requires.
On grounds of our legitimate interest in initiating or expanding our business relationship with you, we store your name, if applicable, the name of your firm, your contact data and data relating to your role/task at our event for a maximum of 5 years after closure of our event.
As far as necessary for our event, we will transfer your name, your contact data and your role/task to individuals or firms that fulfill certain organizational duties. For example, data of participants in fly tying competitions need to be forwarded to the individual(s) in charge of organizing the competition.
If you are an exhibitor, fly tyer, caster, organizer, lecturer or any other such role at our event, your data and contributions will be made public in brochures and on our web site.
3.2 Processing your data as a visitor of our event
Generally, we do not collect personally identifiable information from our visitors. In exceptional cases when we do so, we will inform the visitor about the purpose of the collection and ask him/her to agree to our use of the data.
With kind permission of photographers and video teams we use their photos and videos on our web site, on legal ground of our legitimate interest in the documentation of our event. Of course, if you can be recognized on a photo, we warrant your rights under privacy law. 4. Processing your data on our web site
Our web site does not collect personally identifiable information. It serves the purpose of an information platform for current and past events.
In our legitimate interest to make such an offer, as well as in the (presumed) legitimate interest of our visitors and participants in such offer, we process personal data in text form and photos/videos in our announcements and retrospectives.
